Operum Group was founded by Steven Midkiff, a senior operations executive with twenty years of experience building and scaling multi-office service organizations. His work in legal has focused on the operational layer most firms never deliberately design — how cases flow, how performance is measured, how execution stays consistent, and how leadership maintains visibility at scale.

The Operum Operating System came directly out of that work. The same six pillars held up at a seven-person startup practice as they did at a national organization with more than six thousand employees, and across case portfolios from a few hundred active matters to twenty thousand. Different practices. Different scale. The operating principles didn't change.
